Spent two nights here last week as part of our honeymoon. Fantastic hosts and great location. Shepherd huts themselves are fantastic with all mod cons inside. Brilliant for a get away from it all break. Thank you David and Sarah for.being such welcoming hosts. Would definitely return
Had a fantastic stay. The owners are lovely, the fresh eggs were tasty and the whole experience was nice and relaxing. Can't wait to visit again.
We stayed for three nights over the Easter weekend. Although the weather wasnt always on our side we were always warm, dry and cosy in the beautiful shepherds hut. Sarah and David were wonderful, friendly welcoming hosts. They have worked hard to make Longwool Shepherds hut a fantastic place to be and it shows. The area is so peaceful and tranquil it makes for a perfect getaway break. Highly recommended! We will be back to try out the new hut when its ready.
Absolutely perfect in every way, toilets & shower room clean & smelling fresh upon every visit. Sarah, Dave and Alex are lovely and cannot do enough for you. This quiet, peaceful retreat is just stunning from the moment you arrive. The shepherds hut is very comfortable and you can feel the warmth that has been put into making it feel homely, the seating area just outside keeps you dry should it rain! Can't wait to return next year to try the new glamping hut Overall a very enjoyable stay.
Was in two minds whether to review as I don't want other people to find this perfect getaway! Sarah and David are fab hosts. They were great from the moment of booking to the moment we left.The site was perfect for us. Great views and was so peaceful. It was only a short walk into Woodhall (2ish miles) or 2 miles to a trail that goes all the way into Horncastle (was a great little walk!) Will definitely be going back soon!
